You might doubt it sometimes, but we are always listening to you. We know Celeste have been a long time wish for Amplifesters, and we heartily agree with that desire. Finally, this is the year where we are in a position to make that old dream come true. This is the year where we will enter one of the Hard Club rooms and everything will be pitch black, apart from four little red lights signalling the presence of something/someone on stage. This is the time when we’ll be subjected to their sonic onslaught, that intimidating, profoundly organic kind of violence the French band provides, among strobes and blastbeats, with black metal and hardcore being thrown in equal measure into the gutter. The day after the show, when your neck is sore like hell, remember the old adage: “careful what you wish for, you just might get it.”
