Some of Wovenhand’s records, the already legendary band that David Eugene Edwards created, at the time, during a 16 Horsepower hiatus, were pretty much solo records, that is a fact. It was actually as a solo project that Wovenhand were initially created. However, now that they have turned into a “real” band, the delightfully eccentric American musician seems to miss loneliness, and will reportedly release a new album under his own name. It’s in this format that this peerless figure of contemporary music will visit us, all alone, yes, but still counting on his unique capacity to fill up a whole stage with his shamanic presence, for a performance of unrivalled spiritual intensity, where nothing will be off the table: we might listen to, besides a cover version or two, songs originally performed by David himself, Wovenhand or… 16 Horsepower.
