Formed in Barcelos in 2004, indignu have always evolved and mutated their sound and aesthetics, but it is in 2013, through the recording process of their álbum Odyssea, that the colective defined the musical guidelines that they have been following to this day. Despite having a more circumscribed creative nucleus, indignu have often collaborated with many artists, such as musicians Manel Cruz and Ana Deus, writer Valter Hugo Mãe, director Omar Nayef, and plastic artist Mário Vitória. After two well-received albums in 2016 and 2018, and shows throughout all of Europe, indignu took three years to write and record adeus, recorded and mixed by Ruca Lacerda (Mão Morta, Pluto) at Arda Recorders in Porto, mastered by Birgir Jón Birgisson (Björk, Sigur Rós, Spiritualized) and released by dunk!records (BE) in partnership with A Thousand Arms (USA).
