🇵🇹 O trio canadiano Big‡Brave é mestre numa arte só sua – na qual a estatuária dos poderosos monólitos de ruído e drone, cinzelados pela força de um incomplacente dueto de guitarras e pela percussão primal, mas calculada e rigorosa, se entrelaça com uma delicada filigrana delineada pela espectral voz de Robin Wattie. A muito aguardada estreia em Portugal dos Big‡Brave terá como mote principal a apresentação do mais recente e muito aclamado álbum Vital, o quarto sob a asa da label de culto Southern Lord – gerida e curada por Greg Anderson, uma das figuras dos incontornáveis Sunn O))). Para além de reflexões sobre a condição humana, Vital mostra ainda os Big‡Brave a abordarem algumas das questões sociais mais prementes nos dias de hoje, tais como as injustiças raciais e de género.
A primeira parte do evento estará nas mãos de Fågelle, projecto a solo que se tem vindo a destacar na efervescente cena experimental do norte da Europa, graças ao seu carácter etéreo, honesto e desconcertante, patente no álbum de estreia Helvetesdagar.
Os concertos terão lugar na Sala Estúdio_Perpétuo, no Porto, na noite de 17 de Maio de 2022.

🇬🇧 Canadian trio Big‡Brave are masters of an art which is all their own – a language in which powerful monoliths of noise and drone, chiseled by unrelenting guitars and primal, but calculated and rigorous, percussion, are intertwined with the delicate and spectral voice of Robin Wattie. Big‡Brave’s much awaited debut in Portugal will focus on the presentation of their most recent and much acclaimed album Vital, the fourth under the wing of cult label Southern Lord – which is managed and curated by Greg Anderson, of Sunn O))) fame . Along with their lyrical reflections on the human condition, Vital also shows Big‡Brave tackling some of today’s most pressing social issues, such as racial and gender injustices.
The first part of the event will be in the hands of Fågelle, a solo project that has been standing out in the effervescent experimental scene in Northern Europe, thanks to its ethereal, honest and disconcerting character, patent in its debut album Helvetesdagar.
The concerts will take place at Sala Estúdio_Perpétuo, in Porto, on the night of May 17th, 2022.
