🇵🇹 Os BRUTUS, que têm recolhido rasgados elogios nas franjas mais alternativas da música pesada contemporânea e vão passar o Verão a calcorrear os Estados Unidos de lés a lés, voltam à estrada na Europa ainda este ano e, depois de terem encantado o público na edição de 2022 do Amplifest, regressam a Portugal para protagonizar uma muito antecipada estreia em nome próprio – e em data-dupla. O reencontro com o público luso está marcado para os dias 9 e 10 de Outubro, com concertos no Hard Club, no Porto, e no LAV – Lisboa Ao Vivo, respetivamente. Na bagagem, o trio dinâmico formado pelo guitarrista Stijn Vanhoegaerden, pelo baixista Peter Mulders e pela baterista/vocalista Stefanie Mannaerts traz o seu mais recente álbum de estúdio, “Unison Life”, e um vasto e sólido currículo de prestações ao vivo que têm gerado grande falatório – e que ficam cravadas na memória de quem as vê, sobretudo pela força e entrega que os músicos belgas dedicam aos seus temas.

Desde que saíram do underground com o álbum de estreia «Burst», de 2017, os Brutus têm estado cada vez mais presentes no radar de todos os melómanos com a sua colisão de guitarras pesadas com influências de shoegaze e ganchos pós-hardcore, reforçada pela potência vocal e rítmica de Stefanie Mannaerts. O trio criou uma fórmula vencedora em “Nest”, de 2019, elevada ao próximo nível no mais recente LP, “Unison Life”. Dentro das suas nuvens de som pós-metal e do impulso pós-hardcore, os temas mostram o coração de um grupo de músicos que também têm uma sensibilidade pop muito bem formada.

Neste regresso a Portugal, os Brutus serão acompanhados pelos THE CHRISTIAN CLUB, aqui em formato de duo.

🇬🇧 BRUTUS, who have been highly praised in the more alternative fringes of contemporary heavy music and will spend the summer touring the United States from side to side, will return to the road in Europe later this year. After having ensnared the audience at Amplifest 2022, return to Portugal to star in two much-anticipated headlining shows. The reunion with the Portuguese public is scheduled for the 9th and 10th of October, with the concerts taking place at Hard Club, Porto, and at LAV – Lisboa Ao Vivo, respectively. With them, the dynamic trio formed by guitarist Stijn Vanhoegaerden, bassist Peter Mulders and drummer/vocalist Stefanie Mannaerts bring their most recent studio album, “Unison Life”, and a vast and solid curriculum of live performances that have been greatly praised – and which are engraved in the memory of those who saw them, mainly due to the strength and dedication that the Belgian musicians incorporate in their themes.

Since breaking out of the underground scene with their debut album “Burst”, in 2017, Brutus have been increasingly present on the radar of all music lovers thanks to their collision between heavy guitars with shoegaze influences and post-hardcore hooks, reinforced by Stefanie Mannaerts’ vocal and rhythmic power. The trio created a winning formula on 2019’s “Nest”, taken to the next level on their latest LP, “Unison Life”. Within their layers of post-metal sound and post-hardcore momentum, the tracks show the heart of a group of musicians who also have a very well-(in)formed pop sensibility.

For this return to Portugal, Brutus will be accompanied by THE CHRISTIAN CLUB, who will present themselves as a duo.
