MAT BALL

After 10 years of sonic exploration with BIG|BRAVE, Mat Ball released his first solo album in 2022. Amplified Guitar, as the name suggests, was conceived in order to be listened to at max volume, fully using the drone and the feedback noise that the Canadian trio has mastered. Here, however, it’s presented in an even rawer form, with each song being recorded in a single take and with no extra ornaments or embellishments. Herein resides the true sound of an Amplified Guitar, the one we'll have the privilege to listen to at Ferro Bar on September 22.
