TWO WEEKS UNTIL THE THIRD AMPLIFEST EDITION, WE JUST CAN’T WAIT!
Music, films, records, exhibition and moments of sharing between artists and audience. We’ll do in a sole weekend what we’ve been doing all our lives: work for the sake of art with ambitious proposals.

We think that our Amplifest page has everything you need to know: line up, performance times, accommodation deals, directions, tickets, Porto, press… Take a look (portuguese and english): AMPLIFEST
But, since we’re two weeks away, we decided to help you to get ready:

TICKETS
Where do I exchange my ticket/ amplivoucher for the wristband?
The Box office is located at the entrance of Sala 1, this is where you get your wristband. Guests and press should also pick-up their accreditations here.
Box office will open at 2pm/ 14:00 on both days.

I only bought a day ticket, do I have to change it for the wristband?
Yes.

I heard Amplifest is sold out, is it true?
Amplifest is not sold out… yet. You can buy your weekend or day ticket at AMPLISTORE or at some selected record stores:
Porto: Louie Louie, Jojo’s/ cdgo.com, Piranha and Matéria Prima
Lisboa: Carbono Lisboa, Carbono Amadora, Flur and Matéria Prima
In Spain you can also buy your weekend ticket online at Breakpoint.es

I don’t have a Paypal account, what should I do?
To buy your ticket at Amplistore you don’t need a Paypal account.

Will I receive my ticket at home?
No. Once the payment is confirmed, you’ll receive an amplivoucher in your e-mail address. Print it or bring it in your smartphone and, once at the box office, we will give you the wristband and the beautiful ticket.

I bought my ticket at Amplistore, but something just happened and I can’t go. Can I sell it?
You can, but you really need to inform us to amplificasom@gmail.com who’s the new owner of your amplivoucher.

I really can’t buy it online or at the selected stores. Can I buy at the box office?
If it’s not sold out, we’ll have a few for sure.

PERFORMANCE TIMES

You can check it or download it at the Amplifest site.
Please have in mind that the running order was chosen with the utmost attention. Production logistics also play a major role.

VENUES

Hard Club by Jorge Silva

HARD CLUB + MERCEDES
Capacity
Sala 1: 1000 people
Sala 2: 400 people
Mercedes: 100 people
We’ve been doing some miracles since 2006, but here’s something we can’t do anything about. If you really want to see something at Sala 2 or Mercedes, make sure you’ll be there a little bit before.

Inside the rooms
If you’re not interested in the show, PLEASE don’t ruin it by talking to your friends inside the room. Use the Mainfloor. Some bands need as quiet an atmosphere as possible.

Food/ Drinks
At the upper floor you’ll find a restaurant that will serve you some sandwiches if you don’t want to miss a riff or a warm meal if you want a more relaxed dinner. There are some bars inside both rooms where you can get your drink. Please note that neither the restaurant or bars are our responsibility.

ATM
There’s a cash machine inside Hard Club although we recommend you take your money prior to your arrival at Amplifest.

Smokers
It’s allowed to smoke inside Hard Club and Mercedes, but PLEASE avoid doing it, respecting those who don’t smoke by smoking outside the rooms.

Lost & Found
If you lose something during Amplifest, please warn the staff at the box office. If you find something please deliver it at the box office as well.

WI-FI
There’s wi-fi at Hard Club so please share your Instagram pictures, Facebook and Twitter comments with us. Use the #amplifest hashtag.

CAMERAS/ VIDEO/ SOUND RECORDING AT AMPLIFEST:
Professional cameras are not allowed unless you have the Amplifest photo pass. We truly advise you to live each moment and then, in the following days, check our online platforms such as our blog or facebook for pictures and videos.
Video and Sound recordings are not permitted.

DAVID D’ANDREA EXHIBITION
David’s works will leave their home in the states for a weekend to take over Hard Club’s Mainfloor. David D’Andrea has worked with bands such as OM, Wovenhand, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Earth and even the film director Lars Von Trier, designing posters and artwork. During Amplifest, the main hall of Porto’s historic venue will be in his hands.

MAINFLOOR
Besides the merch that bands will bring, we’ll also have several stalls at the Mainfloor, such as Amplificasom, Bubonic, Kollektif Records, Komokiseres, Popstock, Raging Planet, Ruins Records and 8mm.

ACCOMMODATION
I don’t know anyone in Porto, where can I stay?

First of all, you won’t feel alone, we’ll be this big family enjoying the art we care about. For the ones who come from outside of Porto, we’ve selected some hostels (prices from 9,50€/ night) that we really like and trust. You can check the accommodation packs at the website
